To prove your identity, you will need a valid e-passport along with your ASB login details and a phone that supports NFC technology. Alternatively, a New Zealand driver’s license is also acceptable. The app facilitates the verification process by prompting you to scan your identification as well as to take a selfie for facial recognition.

For address verification, the app allows users to upload relevant documents directly. Clear instructions are provided within the app to guide users through this process.

Once your identity or address has been successfully verified, there is the option to delete the ASB ID app for convenience.

Additionally, customers can download the ASB Mobile Banking app to effectively manage their finances on the go.
